'Baa Ha ha ha in the Hall'
@Walmer Bridge Village Hall
Hosted by Martin Mor
Martin comes from Northern Ireland, and after a successful career as a circus performer, he turned his attention on the unsuspecting comedy circuit.
With over 30 years experience as a professional performer, Martin has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular and in-demand comedians.
In April 2016 Martin was part of a team that set the world record for the highest altitude comedy show by performing at 5,300m/17,600ft at Mount Everest basecamp.
Very much the comedian’s comedian, Martin has been the support act of choice for; Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner.
"Martin is the act that has influenced me the most, the UK comedy circuit would not be the same without him"
Frankie Boyle
The Halls of Ridiculous
Bringing a breath of fresh air to the UK comedy scene, combining lightning-fast improvised comedy with high-octane character sketches. But here's the twist - every bit of hilarity is conjured up on the spot, fueled by the audience's suggestions, ideas, and occasionally, their wonderfully weird imaginations.
Starring Chris Lumb (as featured on BBC Three's Russell Howard's Good News) and Phil Allan-Smith (seen on BBC One's This is My House), The Halls of Ridiculous grace stages across the UK
“That was absolutely ace”
Russell Kane
“The best show of the Fringe so far.
A euphoric experience.
Amazing.”

Alex Camp
Alex Camp has been called “one of best musical acts currently on the UK comedy circuit” - a growing reputation earned by fusing a genuine skill for tight, lean joke writing with excellent original comedy songs. He mixes the hard-hitting punchlines and agile crowd interaction of a stand-up comic with the instrumentation and songwriting ability of a seasoned musician. After years playing in bands, Alex switched to musical comedy where he is now free to sing about rapping babies, 90s dads, the worst towns in the UK and more.
“..an immensely promising voice with an eye both for a great joke and a great song" Paul Sinha
Bethany Black
Bethany is a comedian, actor and writer. She has been performing for over 20 years and has supported many acts on tour including Joe Lycett and Paul Sinha. Blessed with a sharp tongue and a desire to overshare she's been critically acclaimed for her personal, confessional style of comedy. Just as comfortable performing in a small room as in a stadium she has travelled the world and is a regular at some of the biggest clubs in the UK.
You might know her from Mock the Week or 8 out of 10 cats, but that's just your mind playing tricks, despite regularly being praised for her appearance on those shows she's never appeared on either, she has been a panelist on "Sorry I Didn't Know " (ITV) as well as "Sarah Millican's Elephant In The Room" (BBC Radio 4) and was a guest on "Rosie Jones - Box Ticker" (BBC Radio 4). She has had leading roles in television shows such as Cucumber, Banana and Tofu by Russell T Davies for Channel 4 for which she has won awards, she was also a guest star in Doctor Who and played one of the series baddies in No Offence.
She has written for TV shows such as Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Mummy's Big Queer Do as well as written jokes for many of the guests on your favourite panel shows.
“Her journey to Channel Four, ‘Doctor Who’ and steadily rising star status makes for hilarious if sometimes incredulous listening”.
